as Distinguished Honor Graduate

Brett Harris hopes to take his knowledge of computer networking that he has acquired through his education and work experience to pursue a technology career in which he can work with network security aspects of computer infrastructures. Brett, a technology management major from Houston, will graduate magna cum laude with a 3.654 GPR.

He has worked with several IT departments including St. Francis Episcopal Day School, where he also helped students complete homework in the computer labs. He has also been a student worker with the Systems Department of Texas A&M University Libraries since fall 2004, and he completed his internship with the department this spring.

Brett has also been honored with the Distinguished Student Award, the Dean's List Award, and he is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi.

Following graduation, Brett plans on using his internship and education experiences to provide computer knowledge to private or public organizations.
