College of Education and Human Development Honors Knips

as Distinguished Honor Graduate

Christina Knips, a human resource development major, was honored today for her commitment to academic leadership. Christina earned a 3.742 GPR and graduated magna cum laude today.

While at Texas A&M, Christina, who is from Alamo, was involved with several organizations including Texas Aggies Making Changes, an organization that seeks to serve the Texas A&M and Bryan-College Station communities; Fish Aides, a freshman leadership organization; the Student Organization Advisory Board, the Sophomore Leadership Academy and the Help One Student to Succeed mentorship program.

Christina's awards and honors highlight her commitment to maintaining grades and being a good student. Awards include the Buck Weirus Spirit Award and the Presidential Student Service Award. She also has been recognized on the Dean's List and is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Following graduation, Christina plans to work for Accenture consulting in Houston.
