Assist educators in human resource development contexts, as well as trainers, employees and managers effectively identify and understand diversity issues in work and community settings.

EHRD 479 Grants and Contracts
Course will identify funding sources that support research and development activities; identify methods of securing funding; study state, national and private funding sources and how to become successful in submitting to each; complete a proposal to a funding agency and a management plan for a funded project.
EHRD 481 Seminar
Transition from an academic environment to a professional business environment, preparation of an individual professional portfolio, and steps in searching and securing an internship position. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification and admitted to Professional Phase of ISNC studies.
EHRD 484 Internship
Directed internship in an organization to provide student with a learning experience supervised by professionals in organizational settings appropriated to the student's professional objectives. Prerequisite: EHRD 481, senior classification and/or approval of instructor, and admitted to Professional Phase of studies.
EHRD 491 Research
Research conducted under the direction of faculty member in educational human resource development. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification and/or approval of instructor.
