Dooley Appointed Visiting Professor Of Napier University In Edinburgh, Scot8/28/07 By Jenna Kujawski Larry Dooley, associate professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, has been appointed a visiting professor in the School of Business and Law at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. The position will be in conjunction with the business school at the university and will be held for five years. Dooley also served as the keynote speaker on the closing day of the Eighth International Conference on Human Resource Development Research and Practice across Europe: Globalisation versus Glocalisation, held at Oxford University in England. Dooley's keynote address was titled "Globalization: What's eLearning Got to Do With It?" About 200 delegates from more than 26 countries attended the conference. In addition, five representatives from Texas A&M were also on hand to present their research. They were Jamie Callahan, Kim Dooley, Andrew Hart, Rochell McWhorter and Dorothy Porter. The 2008 conference will take place in Lillie, France. |
