Education Doctoral Student Awarded Outstanding Dissertation Award

Prakash Nair, former doctoral student in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (EAHR), was awarded the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education (UCWHRE) Outstanding Dissertation Award for his dissertation titled "Factors Influencing Transfer of Learning among Selected Occupational Safety and Health Administration Trainers in Texas: The Role of Job Stress and Job Satisfaction." 

Nair received a plaque and a check for $1,000 as recognition. His doctoral committee was co-chaired by EAHR faculty Toby Egan and Homer Tolson. 

The UCWHRE is a nonprofit organization representing the nation's leading universities. The council provides leadership for teaching, research and service initiatives in career and technical education and human resource development.
