Education Doctoral Student Receives Diversity Award

Brady Dennis, a doctoral student in higher education administration in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, recently was awarded a 2009 Diversity Award.

Dennis was honored with the Partners in Learning Award, which is sponsored by the Department of Disability Services and recognizes faculty, staff and administrators at Texas A&M University "who go above and beyond to provide an inclusive academic experience for students with disabilities."

A senior academic advisor in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dennis was nominated by Donna Williams, accommodations counselor for Disability Services.

"Mr. Dennis has promoted diversity by working with students of various backgrounds and has provided an inclusive academic experience for students with disabilities," she said.
