Educational Administration

We offer degree options in educational administration with specializations in higher education administration, public school administration, and student affairs administration in higher education (master's only):

• Higher Education Administration  - degrees at the master's (M.Ed or M.S) and doctoral (Ph.D) levels. Provides opportunities to work at the collegiate level, whether as a professor or administrator.
• Public School Administration - M.Ed. M.S. or Ed.D., Ph.D. degrees for individuals wishing to pursue principal and/or superintendent certification.
• Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education (SAAHE) - a masters level degree for students interested in working directly with college students whereby 15 students enter as a cohort once a year. 

If interested in one of these specializations, you may also visit the specific specialization, public school administration, higher education administration, or student affairs administration for more information.

The Department also gives students an opportunity to obtain a certificate in College Teaching. The certificate is designed to augment the instructional preparation for the future faculty, and the required coursework for the certificate fits easily into any graduate degree.
