Graduate Handbook
The Office of Graduate Advising has provided a graduate handbook to help assist you throughout your program. It is strongly advised to read it carefully and look back at it often throughout your program, as it contains valuable information. Each admitted student will be blocked for the first semester of registration until the student has attended the mandoratory department orientation covering the Department Handbook. Although, this handbook is provided for your benefit and your chair will provide help when requested, you should remember that it is your responsiblity to see that all requirements for the degree are met. This handbook will be mailed to you on a CD at the time of acceptance, but we have also provided a copy here for quick access.
Masters Handbook Doctoral Handbook
Please be aware that all degrees in the Department require students to complete the residency requirements set by TAMU, including the Online HRD Masters program. While the courses in the online program may be completed at a distance, all students must complete the minimum number of hours to meet the residency requirement specific to their program. However, only doctoral students are required to complete the Residency Form and submit it to the academic advisor.
