The public school administration faculty in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development in the College of Education and Human Development was selected to serve as the editorial team of Educational Administration Quarterly by the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA).

In a recent newsletter, UCEA announced that Linda Skrla, professor of K-12 administration, will serve as the executive editor of the one of the premier journals of research on educational administration and leadership.

The ten faculty members who will serve as associate editors include Jim Scheurich, Kathryn McKenzie, Robert Miller, Mario Torres, Gwen Webb-Hasan, Terah Venzant-Chambers, Roger Goddard, Chance Lewis, John Hoyle and Anthony Rolle. Doctoral student Amanda Rolle is the managing editor.

“This is a major accomplishment for the editorial team, for the department and for the college,” said Jim Scheurich, professor of K-12 administration.

Skrla has served as an editorial board member for Educational Administration Quarterly and other prestigious academic journals for several years. She was also recently elected vice president-elect for Division A of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
