Dr. Jean Madsen, professor of public school administration and Dr. Jessica Li, assistant professor of human resource development, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign received Emerald Literati Network 2012 Award for Excellence for their paper entitled: Business ethics and workplace guanxi in Chinese SOEs: a qualitative study, published in the Chinese Journal of Human Resource Management, volume 2, issue 2, 2011. The award winning papers are chosen following consultation amongst the journal’s Editorial Team, many of whom are eminent academics or managers. Regarding the quality of Drs.
