COLLEGE OF EDUCATION & HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

Texas A&M University

Registration

Students should first check the course offerings for course availability, specific dates and locations which is located on the online TAMU Class Schedule Web page. The class schedules are usually available in November for spring, and March for summer and fall.

All admitted students are required to set up a NEO e-mail account through the Texas A&M University NEO server before any registration may take place. Students will need to activate the account by using the assigned University Identification Number (UIN). Once activated, you will be able to receive valuable information, such as the registration dates, tuition billing, deadlines dates, and instructor contact with class information. This NEO ID will also be your login for course registration, tuition payments and checking degree status. As this email account will be the only email communication from the Department as well, it is very important that students make a habit of checking this e-mail account daily.

Preregistration start dates and times for undergraduate students only will be e-mailed to the Neo e-mail account when dates are determined. If you plan on preregistering, you are responsible for checking your Neo e-mail for your start date/time.  NOTE: Undergraduate students will be denied access if you try to access the Web registration system before your assigned start date/time. Graduate students do not have specific start dates as registration opens on the first registration date as specified on the Office of Registrar Web page.

Upon the first day of open registration or your assigned preregistration date/time, you may register for classes using the Web interface. Before you attempt to preregister, please check that you have no blocks. You will not be allowed to register if you are blocked. Blocks may be checked on http://myrecord.tamu.edu.
