Three EAHR Faculty Members Named MALRC Fellows

Three Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (EAHR) faculty members - Fred Arthur Bonner, Yvonna Lincoln and Luana Zellner - have received recognition as Mexican American and U.S. Latino Research Center (MALRC) Fellows as well as receiving grants.

Bonner, associate professor in the department, received a proof of concept grant for his grant titled "An Empirical Investigation of the Success Factors Influencing Academically Gifted (High-Achieving) Latino Student Success in Engineering." Lincoln, distinguished professor in EAHR, also received a proof of concept grant for her grant titled "Qualitative Research across Languages and Cultures-Decolonizing Methodologies" as well as Zellner, associate professor in EAHR, for her proof of concept grant titled "A Study of the Relationship between Parent-Teacher Interactions and Hispanic Students Academic Performance in Middle Schools in the State of Texas."

As a fellow, each recipient receives the title of MALRC Fellow for three years and training from the Vice President of Research Office of Proposal Development to enhance their grant writing skills.
