Centers

Created in 2009, the Education Leadership Research Center (ELRC) was established by the Texas A&M University College of Education and Human Development to advance knowledge about effective education leadership by engaging in relevant, high-quality research and disseminating key findings on leadership practices and policies that will make a difference in helping American schools improve the learning experiences of children.

TCALL was created in 1989 by the Board of Regents at Texas A&M University with the purpose of helping to reduce the incidence of adult illiteracy in Texas. As the state literacy resource center, TCALL's purpose has evolved into responding to the needs of those who provide literacy services to Texas’ adult literacy and family literacy learners.

The primary funded project at TCALL since 2009 has been the Adult Literacy Clearinghouse an adult education state leadership project.
